What’s Happening In The Seattle Area This Weekend? | August 26

Hey there Seattle!,

Get ready for some outdoor fun in these last weeks of summer before school starts.

I’m heading to Alaska for 7 days of summer vacation in wind, rain and possibly snow! So you won’t see our usual newsletter next week, but I’ll be ready with a bright red apple, and a yellow #2 pencil, writing up our newsletter when I return, so look out for our September issue.

This weekend, try an art walk on Lake Sammamish, shop for gently-used school clothes for the kids in Lynnwood, and get some Norwegian culture at the Valhalla Crayfish Boil on Sunday!

I’ll miss you and see you in 2 weeks!

Emily
