1) Free Fishing Days June 12-13,2021 in Washington State
On these days, fishing licenses are not required of anyone to fish in Washington. Free fishing days are a perfect opportunity for beginners to try out fishing for the first time.
Also NOT required on Free Fishing Weekend:
- Vehicle Access Pass (which comes with a fishing license)
- A Discover Pass will not be required on WDFW or Washington State Park lands throughout the weekend, but will be required on DNR lands both days.
- Two-Pole Endorsement
But Remember – all other rules still apply. While no licenses are required on Free Fishing Weekend, it’s still important to check the regulations for other rules such as size limits, bag limits, catch record card requirements and area closures that will still be in effect.

2) Hike at Coal Creek Natural Area
Explore Coal Creek to discover Bellevue’s largest park and get lost in the wilderness while still in the city! This area is rich in history and wildlife. This hike is rated as moderately difficult.

3) Online Discucssion: Share Your Love of Art & Learn From Others
Anyone who comes to a specific monthly meetup can talk about their favorite work of art or a piece of art relating to the topic chosen for that month. You can share your screen, showing everyone pictures of art works and tell us about the artist, the history of the piece, techniques utilized or the school or time period of the piece of art. However, each person who comes does not have to give a presentation, but can come just to listen and absorb. So far, we have had great conversations that have lasted until 3:00pm. If you are passionate about art, this is a great group for you!

3) Family Hula Hoop Jam in Bellevue
Hula hooping is a great way to connect with others, learn fun new tricks, and stay active. Hoop Jam meets every sunny(ish) Sunday, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Downtown Bellevue Park. The Jam is run by dance/movement therapist Nadia Rachel. Sometimes there will be guests. RSVP your child’s attendance so they can prepare.
