What’s Happening In The Seattle Area This Weekend? | March 26

Hey there Seattle!,

As I watch my daffodils bloom outside, I’ve been busy in the office working on two projects for my clients – for one, we are finding a good location to build a rental unit onto an existing house, and for another, we are contacting local homeowners in the area they REALLY want to live but not much is for sale…

I hope YOU’VE had a good week at work and area ready for some FUN this weekend!

Take Cheer – Spring is on it’s way!   I see more signs of it every day!

Emily

1) VIRTUAL: Charlotte’s Web Play by Studio East

Studio East is a children’s performing arts and drama center where kids can take classes and learn about acting.  This weekend, they’re putting on their performance of “Charlotte’s Web.”  If you and your family love that story, or you want to see what’s available for kids’ classes these days, check them out.

I went to see a performance of Captain Hook in their theater a few years ago and still remember the ominous tick-tocking of the alligator, and the fanciful fairy lights of Tinkerbell.

3) VIRTUAL: UW Cherry Blossoms Livestream and Virtual Tour

As you may have noticed – it’s Cherry Blossom time!  Gorgeous and sneezy!  (I have found taking about 10 Vitamin C’s per day to be helpful!)  If the pollen doesn’t bother you, take a stroll through the Arboretum near the UW.  If you’d prefer to stay indoors – check out the UW campus’s virtual option…

The University of Washington once again is asking people to enjoy the iconic campus cherry blossoms virtually this year.

A number of virtual viewing options are available, including UW Video’s live webcam overlooking the Quad, a virtual tour with photos from campus that will be updated throughout the blooming season and tweets from @uwcherryblossom.
