What’s Happening In The Seattle Area This Weekend? | May 13

Hey there Seattle!

I had a great day in the garden (several actually) this week with the local business owner and permaculture designer, Kathy Anderson.  I can’t wait to share some gardening tips from that session with you!

In the meantime, we’ve got lots of fun ideas for you this weekend!  It’s a great time of year to volunteer outside for trail maintenance or take a hike outside.

If you want to stay in, grab an interview with a professional artist or try a painting class.

Don’t miss the Saturday night Jazz show with a local performer from Garfield High School.

Whatever you do – make sure you try something new!

Have a great weekend!

1) In-Person, Virtual, or Group Experience: Glass Blowing Class
One of the fun “date” activities my husband and I did last year was go to a glass-blowing class.  We each made a small creation – mine was a very practical, artistic display bowl, and his was a magical glass ball the size of a fist.

Watch live while a professional glassblower creates a piece of art just for you. The piece will be shipped direct to you and is yours to keep.

Price: $79-99 depending on your project.
