3) VIRTUAL: ‘Sleeping Beauty’ presented by StoryBook Theater

Storybook Theater in Kirkland, WA is sharing their children’s theater online.  They also have materials you can print out to prepare the kids for what’s happening and discuss it with them.

2) Let’s Explore underground Seattle and Pioneer Square!

If you’ve never been under the sidewalks downtown exploring historical Seattle, you are missing out!  This is one of my favorite places to take guests and visitors when they come to town.  

The tour begins at 11:00 but let’s congregate 15 minutes prior at Beneath the Streets underground location at 102 Cherry Street, Seattle, WA 98104. We will be led by tour guide Terri Lyn and please remember to tip her if she does a good job, which I know she will! Masks are required for everyone even if you’ve been vaccinated.

Let’s go birding! Seward Park Audubon Center is emerging from our pandemic closure, so we are inviting our neighbors, near and far, to join us in our next birding adventure. Lead Naturalist Ed Dominguez has returned to Audubon and will lead an exploration of our raptors, songbirds, and waterfowl. We’ll provide the binoculars in this program for people who would like to bird for a lifetime or just one day. 

During our reopening celebration, all of our programs are free. We ask that you limit your participation to one program this weekend so that more members of our community can join in.

Climb aboard the Fremont Avenue for the Ice Cream Cruise. Every hour on the hour we set out on a 45-minute trip around Seattle’s Lake Union, for a narrated tour of this unique and vibrant waterway. Eat ice cream, enjoy the views and learn about:
