Seattle Real Estate: Home Prices Down? What You Need to Know | Puget Sound Market Update

If you’ve been keeping an eye on Seattle real estate, you may have noticed some changes in home prices and mortgage rates. The market is shifting, and buyers and sellers need to stay informed to make the best decisions this spring. With mortgage rates on a seven-week decline—dropping from over 7% to the mid-6% range—this could be a rare opportunity to secure a lower monthly payment. But how long will this trend last?

For homebuyers, lower rates mean increased buying power, potentially saving you hundreds per month on a home loan. On the flip side, sellers may see increased demand as more buyers jump into the market before rates climb again. If you’re planning to buy or sell in Seattle, now is the time to evaluate your options before the market shifts again.

The Seattle housing market is constantly evolving, and staying ahead of trends is crucial. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or looking to sell your current property, understanding local pricing trends and mortgage rate fluctuations can help you make the most of this changing landscape.

I have been having a GREAT time coaching my 8th grade daughter’s basketball team this year (I have never coached kids sports before, just adult real estate investors) and I think I have found my calling!  I love teaching people, and the girls are great to work with!

This weekend I will be attending our kids’ school auction and fund raiser in Bothell, and also contributing to a Saint Patrick’s Day Potluck at our church.

Mortgage Rates Are Dropping: What It Means For You

Mortgage rates have been on a seven-week decline, hitting their lowest point of the year so far!

This unexpected drop from over 7% to the mid-6% range could boost your buying power and save you hundreds per month on a home loan.

Careful: With market volatility, this window of opportunity might not last long!

Taking Advantage Of Lower Mortgage Rates

With mortgage rates hitting their lowest point this year, smart buyers are jumping on opportunities—just like the investor who just secured this property as a smart rental investment!  📉💰

I was amazed when I saw the closing documents.  They were able to buy the property with just $25,000 down!

The seller had offered a bonus commission to me, (which i *generously* assigned to my clients!) and we also negotiated for a closing cost credit, limiting their cash out of pocket.

I take good care of my clients.  I want their investments to be a success so they can buy more property, and continue to build the empire!  Win-Win.

Lower rates can mean more purchasing power and better deals, making now a great time to explore your options.
