A Day at Roosengaarde
April is time for Tulips! I like the daffodils, but I *LOVE* the tulips, and seeing them blooming in my yard. Now that we have more deer visiting us, it’s hard to keep ahead of them when it comes to our own tulip crops. The obvious solution to this problem is to go to the Tulip Fields up in Mount Vernon. Although the air can be brisk, this annual pilgrimage with my mom and kids (and sometimes the rest of the fam…) is always one that fills my heart with joy and so much color!) And when the sun comes out… Perfection! If you haven’t been in a while, this is definitely one you’ll want to put on your calendar!
We often go to the display gardens at Roosengaarde.

Luxury Downtown Seattle, WA Condo For Sale: The Cristala Building
One of my clients is getting ready to list his luxury condo in downtown Seattle. This can be a challenge because the downtown condo market really softened during COVID. However, with many companies returning to in-person work, we are hoping to catch the wave and find someone who would love living in a first-class building with an A+ location and great view.
I’m curious – has your work situation been affected by stay-at-home, or back-to-work changes over the last few years?

The Power of Negotiation
One of my buyer clients really likes to negotiate, and I don’t blame him… I do, too. In fact, that’s one of the reasons he chose to work with me. So, when he came to me and said he wanted to submit a low-ball offer on a house he had seen, I didn’t bat an eye. However, I wasn’t confident he’d get it… we talked about the risk of coming in too low if there were multiple offers on the house.
