A Night Of Broadway Magic With My Family
Squee! Last week, my family and I finally got to experience Hamilton live at the Paramount Theatre, and let me tell you—it lived up to the hype!
The theater was gorgeous and packed people. The line for merch trailed up the stairs and around the second floor balcony.
Once the curtain was up, we were transfixed! The mix of hip-hop, history, and Broadway magic makes this show a fun modern classic.
It was delightful watching my kids get swept up in the show and comparing the performance with the original Broadway cast! I was secretly singing along (quietly, of course!), and our seats were so good I could see the spittle flying from the actors lips!
If you haven’t seen Hamilton yet, I highly recommend it.
There’s something special about watching a Broadway-caliber production right here in Seattle’s historic Paramount Theatre—it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I saw they had Les Mis coming next year -and that’s one of my husband’s favorite musicals, so we’ll have to see if we can score tickets to that next!
