Labor Day weekend is one of my favorite times to get out and enjoy Seattle. Summer is winding down, but around the Puget Sound there is still plenty happening, from major festivals and state fairs to ferry rides, outdoor adventures and easy weekend getaways.

Whether you’re looking for live music at Bumbershoot, gaming and pop culture at PAX West, a day at the fair, or simply an excuse to spend one more summer afternoon near the water, there are plenty of ways to make the most of Labor Day weekend in Seattle.
