How I Work With Buyers and Sellers
Buying a Home in Everett and North Snohomish County
I love working with home buyers in every situation… whether you are buying your first home, downsizing into something easier to manage, or looking for an investment property.
I have been an investor since 2002, so I look at every house from an investment perspective, as well as whether it is a happy fit for you!
Selling a Home in Everett and North Snohomish County
Sellers usually want three things… the most money, a fast closing, and no glitches along the way.
I have built my systems around getting you those results, and they hold up even in a challenging market. I was a Phi Beta Kappa kind of student, so yes, I call my method A-PLUS, and I still like turning in A-plus work.

Why I Like Everett
My Family’s Everett Summers
Everett is one of my favorite places to spend a summer day. Our family has been going to the downtown Fourth of July parade for years, and in June, Sorticulture, a festival that mixes plants and art, is a good reason to be downtown. This year my son went with a couple of friends from school to watch the fireworks go off over Puget Sound. The kids grow up fast.
Museums, a Gallery and a Glass Blower
When my kids were little, the Children’s Museum in Everett was a regular stop for us. They have outgrown it now, but it is a great resource. Another favorite was a field trip to an art gallery, which is different from a museum because everything on the walls is for sale. This one had a live glass blowing studio, so we got to watch people make glass art, with sculpture and paintings all around us.
Everett is not only for kids. The arena by the courthouse has ice skating, and they can put a cover over the ice for events. I went to a home show there with a lot of great vendors. A friend of ours from Lake Forest Park drives up to the rock climbing gym two or three times a week, which tells you something about the gym.
Downtown, the Waterfront and a Very Squishy Island
Historic downtown Everett is a great place to support a local small business. It has a historic feel, and some blocks are rougher around the edges, so walk it at different times of day before you decide how you feel.
The waterfront is a different story. With Naval Station Everett there, it is more industrial and businesslike, so there are not many beach parks. The fix is Jetty Island, a small man-made sandy island. In summer you hop on a ferry for a three-minute ride and spend the whole day at the beach. The sand is very squishy, nobody lives there, and you will see a lot of kite surfers.
The Suburbs Around Everett
Everett has plenty of suburbs, and I know several people who enjoy living in them. If you are trying to figure out which part of Everett and North Snohomish County fits you, call me and we will sort it out.
Buying in North Snohomish County: Commutes and Traffic
Traffic on I-5, US 2 and Highway 9 can add real time to your day. Drive your commute at the hour you would actually make it before you fall in love with a house.
Other Places to Look
