Hope you had a great Independence Day Weekend!

We went to the downtown parade in Edmonds, WA and saw the amazing Latin American Dancing Horses of Washington!  Then we hit the park later that evening to watch their late-night public fireworks display!

Hope you stayed ‘safe and sane’ and had a great time!

3) Family Music Class Trial with Music Center of the Northwest

Start developing your child’s love of music by getting them dancing, learning, and developing a passion for music! Music Together® at Music Center of the Northwest, provides a fun environment for children to begin experiencing their musical path.  Classes introduce children newborn through 4 years to basic musical concepts through songs, rhythm, rhymes, movement, and instrument play. 1) Photowalk: Film Photography at Olympic Sculpture Park

Calling all Film Photographers!

Join us in partnership with Panda Lab Seattle for a film focused photowalk in Olympic Sculpture Park.

We will meet at the entrance on Broad and Western, exploring the park down towards the waterfront.

All types of film cameras are welcome, from instant to 35mm to medium format. Own a large format, feel free to join too.

This is going to be a great opportunity to meet some film enthusiasts in the Seattle area, geek out about our love of analogue and different film stocks and techniques and of course, take some photographs.

2) GreenStage Presents FREE Shakespeare in the Park

FREE Shakespeare in the Park! Get ready for a summer full of family fun and FREE theater in the great outdoors in Seattle-area parks. 3) KU Kids in July

On Saturday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 1p.m., families are invited to join Kirkland Urban for the first in-person KU Kids event! Held at Kirkland Urban’s Fountain Court, Julie from Clown Buggie Entertainment will walk kids through this month’s bee-themed craft, answering questions along the way. Beekeeper Pedro Miola with Alvéole will be onsite as well to host an educational workshop to teach kids about bee behaviors and why they’re such a vital component of our ecosystem. This event is free and open to the public, and craft kits will be provided upon arrival. Families are also invited to stick around afterwards to enjoy Kirkland Urban’s water feature, with towels provided as supplies last.

Cool furniture store that’s a lot larger than expected, but pretty far out of the way. Almost everything is wood with neat designs and decent quality. Prices were in-line with what you’d expect given the quality and designs.
