It’s going to be HOT this weekend! What are you going to do to cool off?
I just got home from a beach party at O. O. Denny Park in Kirkland – great place to grill, swim in Lake Washington, play on the playground and chill with friends.
Make sure you get outside or into the A/C… and enjoy our warm season in Seattle!

Hidden in South Seattle, Kubota Garden is a stunning 20 acre landscape that blends Japanese garden concepts with native Northwest plants. Kubota was a horticultural pioneer when he began merging Japanese design techniques with North American materials in his display garden in 1927. The Gardens are a spectacular setting of hills and valleys, interlaced with streams, waterfalls, ponds, bridges, and rock out-cropping’s with a rich array of plant material.A Group will meet at the parking lot of Kubota garden and walk around the trail. We will stop at the fish pond in the middle of the garden to socialize for 30 minutes and then continue walking back to the parking lot.
